The Vics English Riviera Tour

Following some sterling work by various groups of fans, the Trust have been able to present the football club with a cheque for over 1700 pounds towards the costs of the trip to Devon this week.

Money is still coming in but an approximate breakdown is as follows|:
2 bucket collections organised by the Away Travel Club - 600
Distant Vics 400
Donations from other people 200
Donation by the Trust 500
The figure tonight had reached 1,710 but donations are still being received.
A bonus has been the way it has caught the imagination of all fans and Dave Thomas told Peter Grimes this afternoon that a further 1,000 had been received directly by the club. Dave wants to express the club's appreciation for the way ALL fans have rallied round to support this venture.

End of Season Away Travel

The Trust held a board meeting last night and felt there was still one more thing we could do to practically help Dino and the team.
Dino has always said how the vocal support helps the players, particularly at away games. With this in mind the Trust has decided to offer free transport to the last away game at Stevenage on Tuesday 22nd April.

PLAYER OF THE SEASON

The Trust are organising the annual end of season vote for the Player of the Year, on behalf of the Club. Voting slips will be available at each Home turnstile at the Grays match on Saturday19th April and should be either returned to Dave Thomas at the Club or we will set up collection points in the ground behind the goal and in front of the main stand.
