Vics 3 (Stamp 2 Vcadi)
Wigan 1 (Bouaouzan)

A third consecutive win from their opening programme maintained a positive reaction to their pre-season campaign and yet tonights run out against a young and inexperienced Premiership outfit failed to test Vics adequately and left many feeling that there were more questions yet to be answered.
Long periods of mundane action were briefly interupted by more positive passages of play that resulted in an effort from Stamp that struck the side netting and Mullan shooting hopelessly wide following good work from Byrom. Other than a shot from Joe Holt that forced a save from Tynan Wigan lacked any presece in front of goal.
And so it came as little surprise when Vics took the lead following a precise three man move that STAMP converted wth a well plced header. Jamie Mullan then evaded three challenges to skip down the left flank and deliver a cross from which STAMP created enough time and space for himself to lean back and score. The rarest of shots on target provided BOUAOUZAN with no more than a consolation goal for Wigan before VCADI quickly took advantage of his late introduction to add a third goal for Vics.
