Vics moved into the last 8 of this season's Unibond Cheshire Senior Cup at the expense of Congleton Town. Paul Brayson scored a goal in each half as his side won 2-0 in an interesting game watched by just under 200.Vics' usual style of flowing football was evident from the start and but for some poor finishing by Allan, Brayson and Gaghan plus some very brave goal keeping by the Congleton keeper the scoreline could have been much higher.Gradually teh visitors came more into the game but Handyside was solid at the heart of Vics' defence. A second goal early after the interval won the game and late on Brayson missed the chance to net his second hat trick of the season when his poorly taken penalty was easily saved.
