Mansfield's unusual ticket scheme.

It seems like the pay what you want ticket scheme was a success. The attendance doubled, Vics should try something like this. Oh, I forgot we wouldn't be able to advertise it, Vics have knocked a couple of quid of admission before and it's made no difference to our gate. It beggars belief that Mansfield can do it and we can't!

It would be interesting to understand what people actually paid as opposed to wht they should have paid.
Personally, i would be happy to pay £10 (as opposed to the £12 i pay today) however, i guess some people would abuse the process and only pay £5 or even a couple of quid.
Glad to see the gate doubled - this would obviously bring in more revenue in programme sales, refreshments, lottery etc.. wonder if they will do it again, or even make it a regular thing!
I like this initiative...seeing the 'big picture', trying something different to make a difference..Well done Mansfield!

It's worth trying - if it was well advertised, which is something that this club cannot do.
A minimum cap should be put on it, would like to think the normal 250-300 would pay a decent amount, obviously get a few who would chuck a quid or two at it. Brave, but if it was well advertised I could only see it being a success.
